Say hello to Capbeebara 🐝

This little guy is a no sew pattern, which means no yarn needle, no sewing pieces together, none of that. Just hook, stuff, and go. It’s designed to work up in under 30 minutes, so it’s perfect for a quick gift, a bag charm, or just an easy little project when you want something cute without committing your whole evening to it.
About the Designer
This pattern comes from Mai at Petite Paws Crochet, who also happens to be my sister! She’s newer to pattern designing but already has such a sweet eye for these tiny, giftable amigurumi. We’ve been thinking about running a blog together for a while now, sharing free patterns from both of us, and Capbeebara is one of the first ones we get to bring to you. So happy to have her here and can’t wait for you to try it.

Why We Love This Pattern
- No sew and Quick make: under 30 minutes from start to finish, great for using up scrap yarn. Actually, this tiny friend takes me just 15 minutes.
- Keychain size: small enough to clip onto a bag, keys, or give as a little treat to a friend
- That bee theme: because a capybara in a bee hat is just objectively correct.

Project Overview
Quick tip before we dive in: keep your stitches nice and tight so the stuffing stays hidden inside. We’ll be working in a continuous spiral with no joining rounds.
I always suggest skimming through the full pattern before you start. It really does make the whole process smoother!

The wings
1. Mark 2 stitches on the middle on Rnd 8 in the front of the head.

2. Attach white yarn on stitch number 1, pull up a loop then chain 4, start to crochet into the third chain from the hook: 2 Tr in the same stitch, 2 hdc in the same stitch, slst in to stitch number 1. Then chain 4, start to crochet into the third chain from the hook: 2 Tr in the same stitch, 2 hdc in the same stitch, slst in to stitch number 2. Fasten off. Weave the yarn tails inside the body.

Details
Sew the eyes on Rnd 4 with 1 sts wide, 2 sts away from the edge of the nose.
Sew the nose on Rnd 1 and Rnd 2 as the Y letter.
